With Summer officially kicking off tomorrow, the next few months are going to be filled with beach days, outdoor festival weekends and patio nights. The warm weather brings endless opportunities for fun in the sun but it also means that we need beauty products that can keep up with the heat. I’ve narrowed down beauty products for summer after playing around with some great beauty products all spring, to help you look fresh and fabulous while avoiding a melting contour and humidity stricken hair.

Hynt Beauty Day Prep
The key to perfect summer makeup that will last is a good base, and I’ve been so happy with Hynt Beauty’s Day Prep as my primer. But this light weight moisturizing primer is so much more, providing your skin with Broad Spectrum SPF 25 thanks to micronized Titanium Dioxide. It has a great citrusy fresh scent that although is synthetic*, is not overbearing and because its not greasy, you don’t have to worry about breakouts. Even when I’m not applying makeup, you can still find me using this as an SPF moisturizer all year long!

Marc Anthony Hair Care Curl & Smoothing Cocktails
Summer hair is just as important as summer skin, and I love using Marc Anthony products for both my hair styling and hair care needs. Omorovicza Acid Fix
I’ve been using Omorovicza products for a few months now, and particularly their Acid Fix for about a month now. This acid peel serum is more of a multi-purpose treatment that exfoliates, brightens and plumps the skin thanks to BHA and AHA acids. It’s the perfect product for summer as it helps your skin recover from sun damage, acne and pollution – factors we all need a bit of help with during those hot summer days especially when they’re spent in the city. Because this treatment peels and resurfaces your skin it’s recommend for use at night after cleansing your skin which you can then follow with your serums and night moisturizers.

Institut Esthederm Sun Bronz
It wouldn’t be a summer beauty picks list without including a tanning product, and if a summer glow is what you’re looking for than you might want to try out Institut Esthederm’s Sun Bronz. This dry oil not only helps to enhance sun kissed skin, but it also has active age protection while keeping skin moisturized while reducing the appearance of wrinkles and helping your tan last. Because this product is meant to intensify tans and does not have any SPF protection, it’s recommended for people who tan easily and burn rarely.
