I decided to host a beauty themed giveaway for my first one of 2018 and share a few of my favourite beauty and skincare items that I use almost daily in my routine. From health and wellness products to my favourite lipstick ever, I decided to give you guys a breakdown on each item we’re giving away and why they’re on my list of must-haves!

1. Silk’n Solution Blue Acne Annihilator
Chances are if you’re a frequent reader of my blog, then you probably caught the review I did of the Blue Acne Annihilator by Silk’n Solution back in October. Over 3 months later I can proudly say that not only did this device work wonders, but I still use it to this day (weekly) as apart of my overall skincare routine. I love using this a few days after a facial on my entire face, or as a quick spot treatment when breakouts occur. I’ve saved a bunch of money on tired acne products and the best part is I’ve actually noticed results!
2. Bioderma Sensibio H20 Micelle Solution
If you haven’t heard of micelle water (also know as micellar water) when it comes of you skincare routine, where have you been the last couple years? Micellar water started out as French solution to the harsh waters in the Paris region but over the last few years has turned into the beauty world’s must have product. Bioderma’s micelle solution is a cult-favourite and some dispute the only micellar water to use. This must-have makeup remover has been used by runway and fashion makeup artists forever especially during fashion weeks where models are constantly removing and reapplying massive amounts of makeup.
I always recommend this to anyone who gets eyelash extension to remove eye makeup without damaging your extensions, as there are absolutely no oils, and also to remove eyebrow makeup before giving your face an overall wash. Although most will claim you can use just this to wash your entire face, I still like to use a good moisturizing cleanser to really ensure I’ve gotten all my makeup off.
3. Juliette Has A Gun – Not A Perfume
This perfume is utter proof that some of those beauty subscription boxes can bring good things. I discovered Not A Perfume by Juliette Has A Gun about 2 years ago when I received it in either an Ipsy or Topbox subscription and it’s pretty much been one of my all-time favourite scents since. This fragrance is one of the most unique ones you’ll ever smell as it’s composed of only one single ingredient, Cetalox, usually used as a base note. Because of its singular ingredient you can layer this under your favourite perfumes and this fragrance is allergen-free. I’ve tested this truth myself with my Grandmother who is allergic to perfumes, however gets no reactions at all when I wear this around her! The only way I can describe the scent of this fragrance is clean, minimal and intoxicating… in a good way!
4. BLCK Teeth Whitening Kit
I have been using this activated coconut charcoal whitening powder from BLCK. for years now and having tried a couple other brands before this, I have to say it’s by far one of the best products in its class! I have to say I was a little skeptical at first, especially being an ex-smoker, coffee lover and in the colder months red wine drinker. I will be 100% honest and say you will not get instant whitening results that you might get from other chemical products or procedures but keep in mind this product is 100% natural. You will see over time (for me it was about 2 weeks+) a noticeable change in colour and with each use your month feels totally clean and refreshed, even without any minty tastes. I’ve had friends see a lot of success with this product too, both on its own and as a maintenance product after receiving whitening treatments.
5. Kat Von D Beauty Everlasting Liquid Lipstick in Bow N Arrow
You can ask any makeup artist or lover what their favourite long-lasting nude lipsticks are, and I guarantee you this will be amongst the list! I can remember a time when Sephora couldn’t keep this colour stocked in stores or online and I was forever waitlisted to get my next one. This liquid lipstick is vegan, paraben-free and unlike a lot of other long-lasting formulas, actually stays on through drinking and eating with no caking! If you’ve had a chance to try the Everlasting Liquid Lipsticks by Kat Von D you know she totally nailed the texture which applies smoothly and dries matte without drying out your lips. This particular shade of nude is brown with a bit of ashy tones and literally looks amazing on every skin colour I’ve seen!
