Father’s Day Gift Guide

TheMJElle_Father's Day Gift Guide_JP Wisers 15 YO Whisky

Father’s Day is just over a week away so it’s time to start thinking about what to get dad this year. If your father’s are anything like mine, he’s a fairly simple guy that is impossible to shop for, because he doesn’t want anything – ever. I usually like to just spend the afternoon with my dad at a driving range or out having lunch because spending time together is really the best gift. But sometimes it’s nice to treat dad to a good gift, things he would never buy for himself but still actually use. I decided to throw together this quick Father’s Day gift guide to help make the impossible task of shopping for dad that much easier this year!

Swarovski Gentleman Cuff Links, $99

I recently had a chance to preview the Swarovski Fall/Winter 2018 collection with NKPR and asides from all the stunning jewellery and accessories they had for women, they had a great collection for men that got Swarovski on my radar for male gift-giving. These stainless steel cuff links with grey crystals are a great gift for dad whether it’s to compliment is office suits or perhaps to be worn for a special occasion coming up in the family! I love the button inspired design that makes these perfect to be worn either formally or for a casual event.

Casper Pillow, starting at $85

What do dads love more than beer, sports and BBQing? Sleeping of course! So why not get dad the best gift ever and get him a Casper Pillow? I’ve had mine for a few months now and not only have I been getting some of the best sleep I’ve had in a while, my pillow still feels as it did the first night I slept on it. The Casper pillow is made differently than your average pillow, they have a pillow zipped inside of a pillow like case, so you don’t get those sinking spots while you sleep. It’s made with breathable materials like 100% cotton that always make sure you’re sleeping on the cool side of the pillow. The Casper Pillow comes in 2 sizes, Standard and King, and they also just launched their nap size pillow, in case dad needs a snooze on the go!

Leatherman Tread Tempo Watch, $560

Dads are really just big kids with responsibilities, so getting a dad a “toy” is often a safe bet when it comes to gift giving. This Leatherman Tread Tempo watch is not only a toy, but a super useful gadget that dad is sure to get plenty of use. The Tread Tempo is the world’s first multi-tool watch with over 30 tools built in including a Phillips head screwdriver and a bottle opener. The watch itself is still a sleek design making it a great piece to wear dressed up but functional and tough for everyday use!

Bivouak Beard Oil & Shaving Cream, $32.50 & $42.

The brand is from Paris and creates toxin-free products for men, to give them alternatives to the average products on the market. Both products have a masculine woody scent that dad is sure to love, and whether your dad’s a beard guy or clean shaven Bivouak has his facial grooming taken care of! If you’re looking to just go with a simple gift dad is sure to love, and one you can share with him, than this bottle JP Wiser’s 15 YO Canadian Whisky engraved with a Father’s Day message is your best bet. A classic Whisky and a favourite of connoisseurs, this 15 YO has the smooth and rich flavours of banana and caramel with a dried fruit and nutmeg finish.
